The implementation will be like, given a color image and We want to analyse the amount of different color components in different regions . For example, If it is a n RGB image, We will output 3 images out of it, one having only Red color in it with different intensities in different region, similarly for blue and green. This is the splitting part and the opposite of it will be merging one.
