Does not load anything on linux

I have recently been told to move from ohana to SPICA, but for me on manjaro SPICA does not load anything. I can drag an item onto it and it doesnt load, if i manually select via the menus it crashes. I have no idea what im supposed to do to even fix this or if its a known bug
