Using a different version

I understand that this script is to install the Windows 7 version of Media Center. Is there any way to instead use the Windows Vista version of MC?

Short answer is "No", but I have to ask "Why?" This package will install the Windows 8.1 WMC onto Win10/Win11 which required a lot of effort among a lot of folk over at My Digital Life to get it to work. No one is going to put that same effort with VistaMC.

On a technical side, I think it might be too much added effort since VMC was built using .NET Framework 3.5 or older which is not enabled by default in Win11 adding another layer of complexity.
