Hideselectors producing black area in screenshot

A black area is displayed for few seconds when we hide a particular selector using hideselectors.Sometime we get the black image in that area when running reference or test screenshot and it is failing the test case .Can we include some delay time before capturing the screenshot when using hideselectors.
