Migrate to Kotlin and Android x

What you think to migrate this library to Kotlin and use libraries AndroidX?

I would need this too, but it seems that this project has been abandoned and although there are >200 forks, I have no clue, which fork should be used instead.

I found this fork, which has upgraded to AndroidX and works in my project: https://github.com/pstens/MaterialSpinner-1
