File transfer fails to start

I have a Samsung A34 (Android 14) connected to my Macbook Pro M2 16" (Sonoma 14.6.1) I'm running v3.2.25 of OpenMTP

When i connect my phone I can successfully connect it and browser folders in OpenMTP, but when i try transfer a file from my Mac to the phone, it fails to start. The transfer window pops up but it hangs at 0% for roughly 20 seconds, the window then closes and the phone is disconnected. I have to unplug and replug my phone for it to connect again

For me it hangs at 30% on macOS 15.3.1 (arm). Otherwise same behaviour.

Did you try switching to Legacy mode in Settings? The log you attached shows Kalam mode only. The transfer window also hangs at 0% on my machine when it's in Kalam, but if I switch to Legacy it works okay.

I tried both, gave up and used wormhole instead.
