This is to track the path to releasing a version 1.0 of this gem. The gem is currently fully functional and usable. The benefits of releasing a 1.0 are largely practical in that it gives more room for semantic versioning.

Thanks this is great, excited to see this get to 1.0!

Is there a plan to release an earlier version with the HTTPS fixes before the 1.0?

We're about to update our Gemfile and wondering if we should reference a sha or wait for the gem release.
