Hi. Nice project. I have made a similar tool (not knowing yours existed), searchtobibtex.

  1. Yours is more nicely written (mine is in bash)
  2. You may wish to copy/take functionality (I am not sure but e.g. I have a pdf renaming tool)
  3. Would you consider releasing it under a permissive licence? I may then consider contributing to your tool instead of developing searchtobibtex (or vice versa)

You can consider them released under the MIT licence and copy/use whatever you need from its code.
