I would love to have markdown support

This is not trivial to implement. PR are welcome ;-)

I was working on this a while ago.

If i remember correctly i left off around here.

notibaly this has a basic markdown -> rich conversion but there seems to be a bug the other way as we are not converting the

tag back into a md # tag
