Update README

[fundamental]

The existing readme contains some old TODOs and it makes the project look like more of a work in progress than need be. It might also be a nice place to show off some of the performance information. e.g.:

Liblo Read Performance: 78.830000 seconds for the test
Liblo Read Performace:  394.150000 ns per message
RTOSC Read Performance: 32.480000 seconds for the test
RTOSC Read Performace:  162.400000 ns per message
