Allow user defining rules to transform the search term

Some search engines does only accept lower case search terms, such as, oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com.

Could we allow user configure simple predefined rules to transform search term in this case? For advanced users, they can use RegEx Transformation rules like this http://docs.openhab.org/addons/transformations/regex/readme.html#examples
