Make the language specific favicon optional

Would it be possible to make the language specific favicon optional? I use only one instance and the new colorful favicons are a distraction. E.g.:

I am not planning to work on it.

The problem is that language specific icon also changes how icon in bookmark bar look like.

It's hard to quickly recognize the original icon.

Life has been a never-ending wide-sweeping gesture since 2019 so won't say sorry for the delay but hope this still helps someone.
