Can I request that this is added rather than replaces functionality? As I sometimes use IRL time. Maybe something like - change stopwatchMode from boolean to a 3 state variable that can be cycled through simClock -> irlClock -> stopWatch. WIth a very short annotation on display to hint as to what is being shown.

the latest commit implements that. the clock will cycle between local sim-time, stopwatch and real time

Thanks very much for changing this for me. And thanks very much for your current work. I have recently gone back to XP12 from MSFS and have noticed the missing online aircraft. So I'll be merging your changes to help my flying in advance of a release. Have you had any contact with Folke about merging and releasing?

you're welcome. i did contact Folke and he replied he'll only have time to review my PRs towards the end of the year. i'd be happy to receive feedback from anyone (hint, hint)
