Change system intergrity protection

Open tosiara opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Hi,

the VM shows the following status:

# csrutil status

System Integrity Protection status: unknown (Custom Configuration).

Configuration:
	Apple Internal: disabled
	Kext Signing: disabled
	Filesystem Protections: disabled
	Debugging Restrictions: enabled
	DTrace Restrictions: enabled
	NVRAM Protections: enabled
	BaseSystem Verification: enabled

This is an unsupported configuration, likely to break in the future and leave your machine in an unknown state.

I tried to boot into recovery to enable, disable or clear it. But it always stays the same after reboot.

What are the steps to fully enable, fully disable and clear to default?

Thanks

hi, I have the save question. Have you get any idea?

Why would you need to change the system intergrity protection setting?
