User interface doesn't ask for authentication before accessing it

It is then impossible for me to connect or upload anything: I tried to delete the cookies, redeploy several times, without success.

Are you going to localhost:PORT or 127.0.0.1:PORT ?

For me going from localhost to 127.0.0.1 caused the auth prompt to appear
