Rethink issue automation

Open LukasWallrich opened this issue 1 year ago • 8 comments

Currently we have a bot that closes stale issues - maybe that is worth keeping, but exempting issues that are labelled as "will-fix" so that planned changes do not get lost. The bot also shifts these tasks to done on the project board, which clearly seems to be a mistake?

@flavioazevedo let's discuss once we have clarity on the next steps with the website

Please let's discuss this. I do like the constant (but also annoying) reminders. Keeps us on our feet. It is just too much at the moment, and hence, things "feel" late, but we are consistently knocking them down.

@flavioazevedo I added a new needs-discussion label - let's put that onto issues we need to discuss (potentially with @richarddushime as well) so that we can focus our joint reviews

@richarddushime based on the fact that we are keeping this issue open again and gain - do we want to disable the issue cleaning action for now?

may be we should extend days instead of disabling it.
