bug: Steam app is tilling but the size is overlaping.
I think is only resize issue , it always happens on the right side of the window and only with Steam , everything else works perfect . I think the problem is in the Steam app , i had the same issue in KDE tiller also . Any ideas for workaround ?
That's because windows have a min width which cannot (should not) be overwritten. The steam minimum width happens to be high. The only workaround i can think of is either the set it to floating (super + C).
Thanks
There are a few ways to fix this:
- Adopt some of the Mosaic behavior outlined by the GNOME team - this will be experimental on Forge. One of them was if it does not fit, window opens up in a new workspace.
- Nudge the window back inside the current active monitor / workspace and adjust the sizes of its neighbor so that it fits.
- A workaround is to dedicate a workspace on the user side for anything Steam related windows.
- And what @MKrabs described above
Thanks I did start using separate workspace for steam these days .And is way better.
