App redirects to Notifications > Comments after loosing focus
(A bug on the Android App, is this the right place for it?)
Describe the bug When the app loses focus, it redirects me always to Notifications > Comments. That behaviour is very nerve wrecking when I just shortly answer a chat or check a translation while writing an article (as I'm not native english)
To Reproduce
- Go to whatever Home, Listing or any other
- Loose Focus: Press Home button / switch apps
- You get redirected to Notifications > Comments
Expected behavior Just stay where I was
Smartphone (please complete the following information):
- Device: Samsung A5 (2017)
- OS, version: Android 8.0

Thanks for reporting @codinghusi. I'll tag our mobile engineer @fdoxyz to see what they think.
Thank you for the report @codinghusi, I was able to recreate this problem. It happened to me after opening the app from a Push Notification (which indeed redirects the app to the notifications section).
Killing the app and reopening (without tapping a PN) fixed the issue for me, so I'm led to believe it's related to that logic. We have an outstanding bug reported with PN problems which might be related https://github.com/forem/DEV-Android/issues/95
I'm moving this to the Android repo to keep track of it there. I can't promise a fix in the immediate term as our mobile efforts are focused on other projects (they are on their final stretch). Better Android support is coming right behind them in the pipeline.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I hope we can get this fixed soon. Lastly, a reminder for now that contributions to our mobile repos are welcome and appreciated.
Oh nice, that fixed it for me, too! Didn't think that this could fix the issue, thanks a lot :)
Closing this as it is not required now.
