Forbole X can't connect to Ledger in Google Chrome

When using Forbole X for DESMOS, I am able connect to my Ledger Nano X for purposes of adding my Ledger and for adding my DSM account. However, when I try to perform ANY transactions, the confirmation window pops up and I can click "confirm", but then another window pops up to "Connect Ledger, Follow the steps below and sign in your Ledger device. Turn on and unlock your Ledger device". My Ledger is connected, unlocked and the Desmos app is selected with Expert mode: enabled. Web browser pop-ups are set to "allow". Is this just a Forbole X glitch?
