Please add a license to this code

Open Vaelatern opened this issue 8 years ago • 5 comments

If you do not care, may I recommend a BSD or MIT license, to maximise where this code can be used.

However, until it's licensed, Void Linux can not package this natively.

Thank you

It's ISC license, but there is no copy of the license included as per the license conditions.

is ISC compatible with Void Linux?

ISC is fine, but according to the rules, a copy of the license must be distributed. Void won't be able to distribute the code until there is a copy of the license to distribute.

I should note that the rules for distribution come from ISC itself, not from any specific distro.
