how can we open the pdf selected from the android device

I can open the pdf with the url. But I can't open the pdf which I select from my android amulator. So how can I open the pdf. I have also tried by converting the pdf url into base64 but can't open. How can I open.

U need a compatible PDF software installed. Usually the Android Viewer automatically does that. What version of Android u running?

I have installed PDF software in my device. Can you tell me in which format should I store the pdf file which I selected from my device on database

Well the invocation is using the android link layer - so if your device is not setup for that - it may not work. But as I said, Android comes with an PDF viewer .. like I just tested it and it opens Android PDF view up right away.

Can u try to download a PDF and open it up that way - if that does not work that something might be busted on ur device.

Oh to be clear I tested with a real device not the simulator.
