I am using camera fragment with one of the fragments in viewpager.now the problem is whole activity blinks when activity is started(on call of camera fragment).

This is a known problem with surfaceviews which the camera preview uses. The easiest hack is to create a 0 x 0dp surfaceview in the same layout file as the cameraView.
