Indicate Gaussian beam size in the plot
Users suggest adding some indicator in the plottings both 2D and 3D such that users can see the size of the beam better. This helps determine if the simulation domain size is sufficiently large compared to the beam size. It's available in other FDTD software so we can consider having it too.
@dmarek-flex could you take a stab at this since you got a lot of experience with the pretty plotting recently? :)
@dmarek-flex I thought you had a PR that fixed this? but having trouble finding it now.
I had a working branch with some basic support, but it ended up looking like a not so trivial implementation to handle all cases and not a high priority item.
