I was thinking about quick wins in fleetctl_preview to prepare first-time users for success with Fleet. In this Loom video I show a quick Figma prototype of a potential onboarding experience in Fleet (that uses our existing modals). MVP of this could be limited to just the main dashboard. Content could be a short welcome intro with a link to an article that gives step-by-step best practices for setting up Fleet UI and experiencing queries and policies for the first time.
This experience could evolve into a UI that directs users through the various app pages to get Fleet set up (rather than directing them to a guide on the website).

Potential solutions
- Onboarding/welcome modal on the dashboard
- An article that describes step-by-step how to try Fleet successfully.
