Can't resize the Slack window on Wayland
I can only maximize the window, but when I move the mouse in one of the window corner, I have no way to drag the corner to resize the window.
I'm using the latest version of Slack from flathub on Fedora 41
This is a known regression for Wayland, can find an up to date list here: https://github.com/flathub/com.slack.Slack/issues/183#issuecomment-1902686110
I think this is a recent Electron regression since it also happens in Discord now too.
Just adding a comment that I still see this issue with Slack, but the most recent Discord flatpak is working normally and has no problem resizing. I'm also on Fedora 41.
A current workaround:
- Highlight the Slack window
- Press Alt + F8
- Use the Arrow keys to resize your window
- Press Enter to exit resize mode
This seems to work for me, so it's the inability to resize specifically with a mouse that is broken.
This issue is fixed in the latest version available on flathub:
