widget constantly opening the OmniFocus application

Hi there, thanks first for a great widget. There is only one thing bothering me: it opens the app very frequently and leaves it open. Is there a way to get around it? Like closing it after in the script or simply not opening it? (you may understand from my question than I am no expert) Thanks in advance
