Thought: Maybe Universal Scene Description (USD) Could be Helpful
Dear Emanuele,
I just wanted to create this issue, to keep the thought somehow noted down. Maybe the Universal Scene Description data format could be of interest for data storage/transfer. It is publicly available on GitHub.
