firemodels
Smokeview crashes on reload
Smokeview is crashing on the linux version when I reload the data. Smokeview also crashes at startup if I have set an auto load at startup.
The error is 'segmentation fault'.
what file types are you looking at when the reload crashses - ie slice files, particle files? what version of smokeview re you using?
Crashes when looking at Slice, Smoke, HRR, or boundary files.
The script that I am using downloads and installs the current release of FDS from GitHub. This has been an issue for a while so it is not a result of any recent change to Smokeview.

trying to narrow down in the code where the problem could be - are you using the Reload menu item or loading again the way you loaded the first time ?

I do not know if the issue was fixed. Glenn showed me a workaround. It is okay with me if you closed this issue.
