Smokeview crashes at startup

When I click on the Smokeview icon the window opend, but it stops at "wrapping up" and then the window closes by itself. I also tried to run from command line Smokeview with the option fast, but I couldn't load the results. Is there a way I can handle this?

Thanks for following up my case. The simulation ran already till numerical instability (which I already fixed) the problem is that on my workstation I couldn't open the results. The only workaround I found was to send the 3D plots and the .smv file to another server where I was able to open the results.

I was not able to reproduce the problem. Are you saying when you copy your files to another computer, it works? how much memory do you have on the computer that works and the computer that does not work?

I would like to give a small update on the case, I noticed that if I take away all the files but the .sf files I can open my case on both machines. It's not very handy approach, but I can see my results in this way.
