When using python 3.9 or higher

\BitsParser.py:554: SyntaxWarning: "is not" with a literal. Did you mean "!="? if type(v) is not 'Dict': Traceback (most recent call last):

Experienced the same issue as @SolonTech4n6

Editing line 554 and changing the "is not" to "!=" appears to resolve the issue.
