Merged Mining
Can merged mining be done or implemented into sockthing?
I have heard that someone made that work but I don't know who or how.

roy do u know how doublec got it to work?
You could check with him on bitcointalk, he's very nice. Basically you run the merge mining as a proxy up front, and it passes the BTC side of things through to SockThing. As I understand it, I've never done it myself. Maybe I have it backwards and sockthing connects to the merge mining proxy, instead of to bitcoind.
I just know it's possible, but not really how to do it. ;)
