customize FUIPhoneEntryViewController and FUIPhoneVerificationViewController?
Is there any way to customize FUIPhoneEntryViewController and FUIPhoneVerificationViewController?
I see the delegates for passing in a custom controller for the password and email view controllers but not for the phone controller. Am I missing something or is this just a missing feature?
@pedromcunha This is missing feature. We are planning to add support in the upcoming releases.
Do you know when in the roadmap you guys plan on adding support for this?
I've been reading the code and it seems fairly easy to implement this.
I already forked the repo and starting making some changes. So far I have set up a check on the delegate and if there is a method that returns the viewcontroller it uses that instead of creating the normal one. I tried to use some of the patterns already present from the other custom view controllers added in the past (like the email entry etc).
Is it as easy as I'm expecting or am I crazy?
I've also had some issues testing this pod in my own code as I'm not able to publish the podspec. I was hoping to test this in my app using my fork until you guys released a version that supported this feature.
Also interested in this. Since our app is supposed to launch in 2 months and we're migrating from Digits, would be great to have at least the same degree of customization that library had.
@yramanchuk any news on this front? thanks
@yramanchuk I read that customization was targeted for Q4 2017. Any updates on whether this is likely? Thanks!
We are also interested in this. There are two things in particular we want to customize:
- Send the phone number to our back end to verify it's a known number prior to sending SMS
- Move the "Verify" button below phone number field as test users have trouble finding the button on the nav bar.
Thanks
Guys, Do you know if the screen of phone authentication was launched with features for customizing?
Any new updates regarding this?
This feature has not yet been launched. We currently don't have an ETA for this feature, but it is certainly on our radar.
