Thank you for the report, while the steps to reproduce this sound a little different, can you confirm if it's the same issue described in #17794?

It's similar; I've found that the problem occurs when I move items from one window to another, but not always. It's more common when there are multiple files; the scrolling gets stuck. You cannot scroll using either the keyboard (cursor keys) or the mouse wheel. I found a temporary solution: changing the icon display mode.

Does it only occur with the Grid Layout, or can you also reproduce it with the Details Layout?

@gldx03-ux Can you answer the above question

En los dos casos me sucede igual

I can confirm the issue.

I use dual monitors: one above and another below; I usually upload files on websites by dragging and dropping them directly from Files (when possible) and sometimes the scrolling stops working unless I refresh the Files tab.

I wanted to point out that scrolling while dragging files is kinda finnicky: sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. It became fairly evident when I attempted to move multiple images inside a folder, to the point I just ended up doing cut and paste because the software just refused to scroll up.

So, I wonder if those two issues might be connected.

UPDATE: I made some dragging attempts. A few times the scrolling froze, but other times it was temporary. I think it might be a performance issue: the software is processing something in background but then it either hangs or gets stuck in a loop it can't come out from (in fact, despite scrolling stops working, files are still interactable).

I wonder if the file size itself might play a role in this.
