Double Tap Navigation
Hello,
I am attempting to develop a magazine using your compendium, which is beautiful by the way, but for some reason in the Xcode simulator, upon double tap, the navigation table of contents only pops out a few pixels and will not appear.
I am having trouble not only with the magazine I am developing but the unaltered version of the latest Larker-Compendium as well.
Any thoughts?
Chris
Did you defined the "-baker-index-height": 200" in the book.json file? For Laker it has to be set to 200...
Yeah, it is set to 200. Here is a screenshot of a clean install of Baker with the Laker books directory in place with the default code with no changes. You'll notice that on the double tap in the screen shot, the navigation only pops out horizontally about 5px from the left.

that's strange, did you cleaned the caches in xcode and deleted the app on the ipad before installing again?
I have indeed. When I pull up a clean version of only the Baker framework, everything seems to work. Is Laker's navigation defaulted to work or does it have to manually be enabled?

No it's enabled by default. Did you check the .json file for comma-errors and such? I just downloaded both packages and everything is working fine out of the box. I just had a bug, when an old version of the app was still installed in the simulator. But after I deleted that, it worked...
Maybe you should try to post that in the Baker Forums... It's a strange bug....
(Do you have the latest xCode-Version?)
same problem here, did you solve it. pls advice thanks
do you have the latest xcode version? Just downloaded both packages and it works in the simulator. Please check your book.json for comma errors and such...
yes i have the latest xcode version. i already checked book.json. also i downloaded the latest baker...
@christopherpaulhilton did you fixed it?
hi this post https://github.com/Simbul/baker/issues/312 solved the problem
@ffranke: I didn't look into it deeply, but it seems that Laker's code right now is doing a lot of javascript and css work on the index, while the latest version on Baker are instead providing basically all the features out of the box: you just have to create an index view bigger than the visible area and it will scroll naturally without any other support. :)
