Link table of contents appearing to an object
Hi what method do I need to call to trigger the slide out of the table of contents bar at the bottom. Its linked to the gesture of "double tap" at the moment.
do you want to call it from the HTML? Sorry thats not possible (at least not with baker 2.0... Dont know about baker 3.0)
Hi Florian, heck Im glad I asked I thought I was being a bit obtuse becauseI couldnt get it to work. Somewhat relieved and not at the same time. I guess I could show / hide a layer containing the contents of toc instead. shame it wont look half as nice :/
Yeah but with ios5 and the new ability for position:fixed it could be actually possible to do!
Cool! Id avoided upgrading to 5 as everyone seemed to be saying it caused more issues than I was fixing. I guess people dont like change :)
? Its working great! ;)
Cool, so Im going to go for the 60 million dollar question. Installing 5 etc and recompiling shouldnt seem so scarey? I just wouldnt know how to switch back to xcode 4 is all.
it's not a big deal. All my Laker-Apps work just fine under ios5 ;)
Might i ask, Ive been testing experimenting with toc appearing through javascript just before I kick off to ios5. How do you focus the user's scrolling (through the table of contents) on the table of contents. I seem to get a mixfure of the ipad detecting me trying to scroll the table of contents and trying to turn the page.
I didn't try it out, but isn't there a new webkit overflow scroll etc css, which enables native looking scrolling on div elements? Maybe that's not interferring with the Baker-Page-Turning.
cheers
