Please show your code when reporting that your code does not work. As I, and many others, have had no problem getting subtitles to work, the problem is in your implementation, which you did not share.
There are plenty of other people with the same issue which you clearly did not search for or you would have been able to use the help they have already been given instead of posting an issue that has already been addressed. There are examples and answers in the replies to those issues.
