Mac OS Compatibility

It would be great to use this on a Mac as I cannot find any software that runs on Mac. It appears that pyudev does not run on Mac OS, but maybe there is a way to pass the device name manually?

I can try to manage the python stuff but sounds like there is no serial available when I plug (and switch on) the uniden (ubc125 xlt). using Mac 11.2.3. I suspect I need a driver but which one..
