As stated [here](https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/MODIS/index.html), it has been archived for policy violation. The development version at `remotes::install_github("fdetsch/MODIS")` should still be usable, though. Collaboration through PRs is highly welcome!
@jmaspons How about `README.md` changes in [7e2be29](https://github.com/fdetsch/MODIS/commit/7e2be29902f39c8bc1ed8c9e1606012aa646f443) – anything else that comes to mind?
