Horizontal scrolling compability

Do you have any ideas how to make your plugin compatible with jquery.mousewheel and horizontal scrolling?

Indeed, would be quite interesting if somebody could craft up a blended version of jquery.smoothwheel.js and jquery.mousewheel.js
