AtGames Legends Gamer/Ultimate
So it turns out that it is pretty easy to copy the games off of the AtGames Arcade machines. I have the Legends Gamer Mini, but this will probably work with the Arcade Legends Ultimate and Gamer Pro as well.
You just have to install Legends Unchained, which is an alternate OS that boots from a USB stick. The installation does slightly modify the stock firmware, just to change the boot order to try USB first, then fallback to the internal memory, so there is a risk of messing up your system. Standard disclaimers apply.
Once Legends Unchained is up and running, you can ssh into the system as root and poke around the file system. The games are in a separate partition that LU has mounted. I copied them to a folder that LU has shared with Samba, then copied them off the system.
The default root password for Legends Unchained is retro.
The games on the Gamer Mini are mostly arcade games that work with various versions of Mame of FBNeo. There is a smattering of Genesis (Disney and Piko) and SNES games, 2 NES games, 1 Colecovision, and 1 or 2 2600 games. The Gamer Pro and Ultimate versions have a lot more games, but I'm not sure what they have.
This was much easier than I expected. I thought that I would have to mess around with a UART, which I haven't done before.
