Is there a way to see return of a command in notes?

Hello, Is there a way to use/see custom varaibles or return of a command in notes? For example: I want to pull price data of a stock or crypto currency from an api via htmlextract command an see it in my notes. Is there a way to do it?

I haven't had much success w/ htmlextract (yet!) Have you tried piping the result with [<] filename?

Additionally can you share htmlextract.xml setup? If I can get it working, maybe I can help find a solution to getting the data to the notes file
