Mysterious track buttons (need tooltips?)

I am intrigued by these 3 buttons on the left of each track los-tracks because they are pretty, and don't have any tooltips =)

What do they do?

It's better to make some signs on them.

those are only indicators for users, they do nothing besides showing a color. it's an old thing from OOM.

Depends if we want to use them or not. They can be used to quickly categorize tracks.

Interesting thought! I hadn't considered that. It would be cool if that integrated with the (currently broken) track views

If we keep them, they should probably be sectioned off from the Mute/Solo/Record buttons just to avoid confusion
