Feature Request: Minimise to system tray.
It would be great if Carla could be minimised to the system tray - I always have one instance running through Claudia to EQ my headphones and it kind of gets in the way, and sometimes I close it by accident and then it terminates Carla. Thanks!
I kinda want this too. Sometimes Carla just needs to be there on the background... Will add it as a TODO for the next beta.
I changed my mind, if I try to add more stuff to 2.0 it will never get released... let's handle this to after 2.0
Minimising to system tray would be an awesome feature.
In addition I would like to be able to open a single VST from the system tray (i.e. Sonarworks or any other. EQ), without opening all of Carla.

It can turn any window into tray-minimiseable. It did the job for my use case, I can autostart Carla upon login with kdocker and it already starts minimised to tray as I want it.
But of course it would be awesome to have the feature natively built into Carla someday.
