Possibility of using Google's Image
Hello!
https://github.com/lucidrains/imagen-pytorch:
Implementation of Imagen, Google's Text-to-Image Neural Network that beats DALL-E2, in Pytorch. It is the new SOTA for text-to-image synthesis.
What do you guys think? Cheers!
hi @basicfeatures Could you please provide more information about this feature? How would you use it in your projects? Could you share some examples?
Why do you believe this is relevant for the project? Thanks!
I think it's an interesting idea. The only problem is that we would have to add/handle so many new dependencies (python, pip, pytorch, etc.). It would be a bit too much. But I'd love to hear other people's opinions.
It would be interesting to see a ruby gem that lets you interact with Imagen somehow.
I agree it's an interesting idea, thanks for taking the time to propose it! I just feel like it's a bit of a stretch for faker. It would add too many dependencies. Perhaps another project based on faker for anyone interested in starting their own open-source project.
i would concur. Especially with how widely used Faker is, adding in the requirement for users to also install python along side ruby is a bit much to support a new generator.
Thank you for your suggestion @basicfeatures. We decided this suggestion is a bit of a stretch for faker. We hope you understand. We welcome you to take a look at the open issues to find another way to contribute to the project.
