`sl push --to main` failing for submodule

Open classner opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

The recommended way to push changes to a submodule sl push --to main results in the error:

fatal: '/path/to/repo/.sl/store/gitmodules/87426085a1da7bf9322c6f535e87e5dc2a5c4cc7/[email protected]:owner/repository.git' does not appear to be a git repository
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

(I have replaced owner/repository in the repo URL.)

Running sl doctor in the submodule shows me:

checking internal storage
abort: No such file or directory: ../../../../.sl/store/gitmodules/87426085a1da7bf9322c6f535e87e5dc2a5c4cc7/.sl/store/requires

Outside of the submodule everything works fine.
