Open clqim opened this issue 2 years ago • 9 comments

it says 'video couldn't be opened (wrong path?)' after i drag a video onto blur, the program is on the same disk as the video and it doesn't have non-alphanumeric symbols in its file name

either 1, your path does have unsupported characters, or 2, your video's name is invalid, try renaming it.

neither of those are the issue

i tried the 1.92 pre release and it started rendering, but on %3 it crashed and kept running in background and the blurred video was 0 bytes

your file needs to be on your desktop

your file needs to be on your desktop

That is just not true. The file can be anywhere.

I still believe the issue has to do with unsupported characters in the video/program's full path. I've helped with countless blur errors over on CTT and this issue was always occurring due to invalid characters.

However, 1.92 should be working with invalid characters. I'd have to assume there's more than 1 issue here.
