Losing access to system resources

Open Omarock92 opened this issue 2 months ago • 2 comments

description When rendering and doing a resource intensive task at the same time, blur slows down (this is normal). The problem is it doesn't pick the speed back up once system resources are freed. It also seems to hang the render when locking the pc (Win+L). I'm on the 'High performance' power plan with most power saving features disabled.

system Blur version (e.g. 1.8): 2.42 OS (e.g. Windows 11): Windows 11

Odd, is it still showing as high resource usage in task manager? I'll test rendering while locked.

No, it stops using as much gpu/cpu as it's supposed to. Though I noticed this is more likely to happen with long renders (1h+). Sometimes I leave my pc for hours (lock it) then come back and find it stuck in the middle of the render (like 40%-60%) and the app is no longer displaying the x frames per second text.
