same problem... I'm guessing this plugin is no longer being supported by the developer? (no response since 2017??)
Interesting.. seems to run 8 times only on first load. Clicking the sort on the date for example, you'll see 4 console.logs as expected.
I've just ran into the same issue.. @JulianCataldo any plans on fixing this? or do you accept PR's? Should be pretty easy fix, here's a diff of a library (astro-navbar)...
