CORS Error on Reddit when hovering over videos.
Noticed this for the last couple weeks. If you avoid hovering over links and thumbnails, and click directly on the link embedded videos, they will play without issue. As soon as you attempt to watch a video after hovering over a link and having the video preview play, all embedded video players that haven't already buffered video content will buffer endlessly while throwing errors that look like this:
As long as your don't watch videos through hover zoom it works just fine, but as soon as you watch a video through the the extension, all other videos will not load.
That is weird. Thanks for the repro steps, I'll try to figure out what's going on.
I've noticed one more thing: as soon as you open chrome dev tools then the problem disappears. Could it be a chrome bug?
I tried duplicating what you said but I was still getting the error even when I open the dev tools in chrome. I even tried refreshing with the tools still open and was still getting the same errors as above.
