[Bug]: Images/videos are not added into history
Description
Hello
I am using old.reddit.com and I have noticed that after yesterday's update the images/videos are no longer marked as "viewed"
Before when I hovered with mouse over image/video the title of post changed color to show it was "viewed". Now it stays the same color as posts that have not been "viewed"
Also I have noticed some orange highlit on two options in Hoverzoom settings - Add to history and Save media (picture attached). I dont remember seeing it before, but I could be wrong

Reproduction steps
go to old.reddit.com and hover over any image/video. Post title color will stay the same as "unread" posts
Expected behavior
Post title color of which I have seen image/video should change color to indate that the post has been "viewed"

The same is happening also in Firefox.
Both browsers are the latest release FF(138.0.1) and Edge (136.0.3240.50)
Hoverzoom is 1.1.3 on both
Same it's very annoying. The changelog two updates ago claimed to have fixed it but unfortunately it didn't

I turned off the history option and completely reset my extension permissions in Chrome, but when I toggle the history option back on it still doesn't prompt me with the permission request
Not when I toggled it off and on and reset permissions. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the extension and I got the permission prompt then after turning on history but they're still not being added to history
same here I had to reinstall to get the prompt, but after allowing it did not help

the problem is that is happens also in Firefox. This is not only Chromium browsers problem

Does not seem to be a workaround for Edge either.

I noticed it works on reddit gallery links but not i.redd.it, v.redd.it or twitch clips
